Djak Azran is an accomplished and internationally acclaimed Director, Photographer, Creative Director and Stylist.
He was discovered by Jean Paul Gaultier at the age of 16, and brought into his team as a stylist.
Djak immediately proved his value and creative vision and was given the responsibility of the creative direction for the Gaultier campaigns and Runway shows. At 18, Djak signed with The Face magazine in London, while studying photography at The London College of Fashion. He was published that same year, which established his unique mark on the industry for art directing and styling his own photo shoots.
At 21, Djak was hired by Christophe Carrere to art direct fashion shows for multiple designers including Christian Dior and Balenciaga. The next year Djak joined the LVMH Group and is assigned to John Galliano's team to revamp Givenchy.
Djak was also a co-founder of the visionary design firm ORA-ITO (named Most Influential Design Firm by Wallpaper Magazine, 2007) for which he served as Creative Director until 2008.
Through the years Djak has collaborated with many of the top fashion designers, including: Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler.
As a Stylist, he’s partnered with Photographers such as Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Bruce Weber and Pierre & Gilles.
Djak has also been seen in front of the camera on many occasions. He was a guest judge for the French version of ANTM, and most recentely the featured photographer and guest judge on the new Lifetime reality series BLUSH.
